Become an Illustrator

The Abstract is MSURJ’s popular science blog where we publish informal articles on anything science related.

We believe that Art and Science are inextricably linked and so, are excited to continue deepening our relations with McGill’s talented network of artists!

Illustrators for The Abstract will be creating art for within our articles as well as for their header images. Our Illustrators will also help create cover art for virtual ‘magazines’ of our articles (stay tuned for those!). Further, one of our illustrators may be selected to create the cover art for our annual MSURJ journal publication!

Those interested in illustrating/creating art for our blog’s articles may apply either:

  • Keep yourself aware of the relevant dates and details on our instagram @msurj_media
